Qiyun (Q) Gao likes to daydream. She creates poetic experiences through new media, performance, design+marketing, writing, and curation. ☆ 


 Qiyun (Q) Gao, born in China, is a new media and video artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work explores themes of memory, displacement, and daydreaming through digital environments and immersive storytelling. She works across video, 3D, interactive media, and performance.

Q graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2025 and is a two-time recipient of the Tisch ProFunds Grant. That same year, she was named to the New Talent List. Her work has been featured in Mercer Street, Confluence, Adjacent, Video.Sound Archive, and beyond.

Drawing on her background in both urban studies and creative technology, Q creates intimate yet expansive spaces that center emotional experience, community histories, and speculative futures.





高启云（Qiyun Gao），出生于中国，是一位常驻纽约布鲁克林的新媒体与影像艺术家。她的创作通过数字环境与沉浸式叙事，探索记忆、流离与白日梦等主题。她涉猎影像、3D、互动媒体及表演等多种媒介。
